Business Entries - Bad News

I work for a company by the name of BN Kirk. On 03/04/2018, I received a phone call from a lady by the name of Veronica Joseph from Business Entries, asking why we had not returned the form that she had been emailing to me and my Manager for the last few weeks. I told her, it is because we do not want or need any dealings with any directories, because they are just trouble. She said the service they were offering was at "no charge", and if you look at their document, the word "free", is in bold letters so that it really stands out. My Manager was not at work, so I took the document, signed it, and emailed it back to her, without reading the very small writing in the body of the document. What is actually free, is that your company will show up on Google for free, but only once you have settled the invoice that they raise, when they receive your form. The invoice is for R11 988.00. This is an absolute ****. The last thing that I expected when I emailed the document back to Veronica, was that I would then be indebted to this company for R11 988.00. My Manager will not pay this, and I also will not allow it to be paid by the Company. This is False Advertising, as far as I am concerned. For some reason, Veronica Joseph seems to not be available to speak to, and a lady by the name of Sandra has been phoning and sending emails to our company on a daily basis, wanting payment of R11 988.00 to settle the unpaid invoice. I have advised her several times telephonically and also by email, that they need to credit the invoice, as it will definitely not be paid. She has now said that she will refer the matter to their Attorney. I have asked her to please do this, because then I can also get our Company Attorney involved. She phoned again this morning, wanting to speak to me, and said that she had sent an email to my Manager. I asked her to please forward the email to me, so that I could read what was in it. This was at about 10 to 10.30 am, I still have not received the email. I phoned Business Entries on their landline, which is 31- ********** , and asked to speak to someone in charge. My details were taken, and a few minutes later, I received a call from Sandra, and the whole saga started all over again. Please everyone, be careful what you sign. Do not get taken in by anyone !!! I was advised by Sandra, when she phoned earlier, that I must put my problem in writing !!! I have sent so many emails to this company already, it is quite sickening. There just doesnt seem to be anyone "in charge". It is a Call Centre, where it seems that the staff are just there to take money from unsuspecting people.
