********* and unprofessional service by doctor

I am appalled by the service rendered by the trauma unit doctor, I am not to sure of his name but I had brought my sickly father whom is a regular patient at Gateway Private hospital on the 16th of July 2018 at 9:30pm. My father’s oxygen level was 32 and his heart rate was 175 and he had low pressure. We had brought him in with ambulance and as far as we knew from what the ambulance said, is that my father would be admitted into ICU because of his pre-existing condition, But a nurse told him that they currently have no beds in ICU, but we still took him to Gateway Private as his Lung specialists are at this hospital. We reached the hospital at 10:15 pm this trauma unit doctor comes in 50minutes later to tend to the patient which is abit ridiculous despite coming in, he does not introduce himself and neither does he apologise, he comes in with an attitude just checks my father up and does not give him any treatment. Then he gets on the phone with a doctor that has treated my father for his broken pelvic bone to decide what to do with him whereas he is supposed to call doctor Ambrham and Prof Lalloo because his vitals were to low and these doctors do not take any chances with my father and admit him immediately. So the trauma unit doctor comes to speak to my mum and I and tells us that his Orthopaedic surgeon said he does not have to admit him for his but he can ask the patient (who has just been discharged on Monday morning) if he wants to stay or not Any patient who has been discharged from staying at hospital during the weekend will say they do not want to stay. So as concerned family members we told the doctor that he should not ask my father if he wants to be admitted and he should just admit him, with attitude he replies no he has to ask the patient if he wants to stay or not what nonsense is that? So why don’t other doctors from the trauma unit ask my father when we take him in if he wants to be admitted or not. The doctor from the trauma unit then gave me a form to sign for refusal of admission and my father was weak and could not sign so the doctor literally gave us the form to sign, so much for asking the patient if he wants to stay then gives the family members to sign a form of refusal of admission when he did not want to take into consideration that we wanted my father to be admitted to be monitored. My father is literally a regular patient at this hospital and this is the first time one of the trauma unit doctors treated him or his family this way and I am utterly disgusted at this treatment, it has been two days and my father is still not well .
