Disgusting service! This hospital does not care about patients!
I’m quite disgusted at the treatment this Busamed Umhlanga gave to my 62 year old father who had done an operation 2 days ago.
He was discharged this morning and the nurses were in a hurry to kick him out of his bed. There was no need to kick out a patient and have him wait outside in the cold wind for us to pick him up, We received a call from him at 10 informing the family that he has been discharged and at 11:45 we find him out in the cold by himself.
Mind you, he has a fresh operation on his hip And cannot walk on his own! If they couldn’t keep him in his bed we would’ve understood had we found him at least inside seated on the couches by reception.
This is unacceptable ! My dad was kicked out like a dog!
I just want to add that on top of the event that happened to my dad which I am totally unhappy about.
He was discharged with a prescription for medication which we proceeded to purchase at Dischem, the pharmacist at Dischem refused to give the medication to us as the medication would’ve been life threatening for my dad. (We normally get his medication from Dischem so the pharmacist knows my dads medical history)
She asked us to revert back to the doctor and the Doctor denies ever writing that prescription ( what a big joke)
This hospital is not to be trusted! They gamble with peoples lives! If it wasn’t for the pharmacist God knows what condition my father would be in now.
