Rude debt collector

Lost my job just before the first Lockdown due to covid 19 I struggled to get a job till today, then I spoke to vodacom regarding my contract fine they understood me. Fast forward 2021 I yesterday received a message of a garnish order then I called them but the numbers didn't go through send them WhatsApp they blue ticked me, today they reply asking for my ID number I give them then they call me it was a lady whom I couldn't catch her name. So rude this lady when I try explaining she said "hey hey" with that rude voice. Guys dont get me wrong but am not saying am not responsible for my debt and am not going to pay the account I even said to show that am responsible. A part of me says that maybe these people are rude to us because of the law, maybe the law says if you owe debt collectors must be rude. So that rude lady said to me I'll get judgement then hanged up without hearing me out or explaining in a respectful manner.
