Our sincere apologies for the waiting time. I have checked on the situation - we had a P1 patient that came in from Casualty (condition: Stroke) which by law we needed to do immediately. In the throes of trying to sort out this patient, they unfortunately omitted to tell you that it would take some time before they could take you in.
As we are connected to the Hospital and the Emergency Department, we are bound to ensure these critical P1 patients are dealt with immediately to help save their lives. I do hope you understand the situation, and once again apologise that it was not communicated to you that you had to wait a while for your turn.
Warm regards
Dr Wim Burger
