Its is slow going at this facility.....Fill out forms and then takes ages for them to capture it......Easy solution is to replace the capturing staff with computers with signature pads and have a vetter......40 minutes at this facility with a booking and still not called for xray.....if the doctor was not in the facility and requested xray, I would not use this facility again

Dear Lionel

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience.  It is never a pleasant situation to wait in a waiting room, of course.  However, it is important to understand that our radiology practice is connected to the hospital and casualty department, hence, we receive a myriad of patients from the wards and emergencies do get precedence.  We have indeed had a very busy Monday so far, as you bore witness to the beds that were reeled in while you were here at reception.  Furthermore, as a practice we do not take appointments for X-rays as this is scheduled on a walk-in basis. You were asked to come in and get X-rays done prior to your appointment.  So, there was no fixed appointment and due to the number of patients, there was already a queue for X-rays.  We confirmed this with your doctor who is aware of the situation as well.  Just to confirm, as a first-time patient, it is necessary to fill in the forms (including legal consent / signatures) and yes, it takes time to capture the detail of your medical aid / next of kin / clinical information. All that aside though, I can vouch for the fact that our team is constantly helping and supporting our patients in our waiting room. We strive to continually be professional and efficient to move patients through as smoothly as possible. Trust you understand this and apologies for the delay this caused for you.

Regards
Dr. Wim Burger
