Unacceptable Staff Behaviour

I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding the service I received from a member of your staff at the Khayelitsha Dr Thembokwezi Square branch (60B Washington Street, Burger King #32188). My visit took place on the 1st of June 2026 at approximately 18:00 PM.

During my visit, I experienced highly unprofessional behaviour from a team member named Andiswa Ngogodo (the surname is along those lines).

I went into the branch to purchase a meal and was initially being assisted by a gentleman named Olwethu. Before the transaction concluded, Andiswa rudely interrupt our conversation. To my surprise, when I greeted her politely to acknowledge her presence, she simply stared at me as if I was a fool for greeting her. She then continued talking to Olwethu without acknowledging me at all. Following this interaction, Olwethu left the counter and I was subsequently assisted by Siyamthanda.

While I was very livid, I chose not to escalate the matter at that exact moment. However, I was deeply disturbed shortly after to witness Andiswa greeting another customer who appeared to be a regular with immense respect and kindness. This made it entirely clear to me that her disrespect towards me was completely intentional.

This level of selective, dismissive service does not align with the standard of customer care I expect from Burger King. I have attached a copy of my receipt to this email for your reference.

I would appreciate it if this matter could be investigated by the branch manager, and I look forward to your response regarding how this issue will be addressed.
