Terrible service blamed on festive period

Visited the burger King branch in the Pavilion on 23rd December only to be surprised with terrible service. The ice machines were not operational, the soda was flat, the cashier messed up my order and my husband's burger was burnt. Upon speaking to the manager, her excuse for the terrible service was that they were extremely busy due to the festive period. Surely a store like burger King should be able to be prepared for a large influx of customers during this period and not use it as an excuse for their ****py service. Definitely won't be eating there any time soon.
