Every burger king slip includes details about a survey to be completed for one to receive a free whooper jr with your next purchase. on Saturday afternoon i made a purchase at burger king clearwater mall and decided to complete the survey which was asking rather unnecessary questions but it was anyway completed and we got a reference number to use for receiving the whooper jnr on our next purchase. on Saturday evening , we went to another burger king to make another purchase and also mentioned the free whooper jr as per the survey. Now, the lady who was serving us then told us that the survey has been stopped and that we cannot claim the free whopper jnr. we showed her the reference number relating to the survey but she was very much adamant that the free whooper promotion has been stopped and that we cannot receive the free burger. my issue is that the slip has the details relating to the survey and also when doing the survey , you are given a reference number to receive the free whooper but only to be told that the promotion was stopped. why is this promotional information not removed from the slips and why is it that when the survey is being done, then no mention is made about the promotion being stopped and why are they giving one a reference number to retrieve the free whooper when they know that the promotion had stopped????? i think this is just a ******* to get people to continuously buy their meals and they never fulfill their mandate as per their slips\survey. i am very disappointed
