I will never order from Burger King again

On the 19th of February I bought a double stacker meal from Burger King Kyalami Corner. After I ate it I felt bloated then felt nauseous. 2am the next morning I had very painful stomach pains and then eventually threw up. Couldn’t go to work the next day as I barely slept being up since 2am. Then went to the doctor which was unplanned and the whole exercise costed me R1400. Money I didn’t have and now my medical aid savings is finished. I complained to Burger King and the hounded me for days to get the info. I sent them the information they requested and have not heard anything from them since. I would not recommend Burger King to anyone especially the one from Kyalami Corner. I don’t believe their quality control is 100% up to standard and it’s not good as they are in the food industry. Every time I think of Burger King I just feel sick and all they can say is sorry for that experience. Sorry isn’t going to get me the money back I spent or make me want to go back there. If they refuse to respond to my case number I will definitely get my lawyers involved and take this to the ombudsman if I must. But this is unacceptable. You think as a paying customer you get what you pay for especially since in this day and age everything is expensive. But all you get is sick.
