My Partner and I went to burger king at Mall of the South and upon entering a lady dressed in burger king uniform was at the entrance, she greeted us in a friendly way and then explained to us that the drinks machine was not working, however if we add R3.00 to our meals we could get cans of a drink that she herself did not know what type of beverage it was, which was strange to us. My partner and I then decided to go to a nearby Pick n Pay to buy a bottle of "Mountain dew" then we came back to make an order, the lady behind the counter was wearing different uniform that indicated that she could be a supervisor pf some sort, her attitude was not welcoming at all. After making our order we walked over to our table and we approached the drinks machine to get the FREE disposable cups to drink with and we were stopped by the lady that was at the door earlier, i then jokingly said to her that i am making things easier for them since their machine is not working, then she told us we could use the smallest of the FREE cups, we took them without a problem. When our oder was ready i was called to the counter, only to find both ladies waiting to give me my order, the "supervisor" rudely told me that i was not supposed to use the cups & that i was going to put the lady that gave me the cups in trouble, this made me very angry because now i am thinking how is it my problem & how am i supposed to enjoy my meal now? I then gave the "supervisor" a piece of my mind & even the other workers approached me to appologise & that the so called supervisor was wrong for doing what she did.
