Discriminatory Treatment and Forced Exit from Burger King

Discriminatory Treatment and Forced Exit from Burger King

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment my family and I received during on the 19 April 2024 during visit at Burger King Boulders Midrand branch. My family and I entered Burger King with the intention of enjoying a meal together, having already purchased enough burgers for four individuals.

However, upon arriving, we encountered a hostile and discriminatory attitude from the branch manager. Despite our purchase and intention to dine in their establishment, the manager forcibly chased us out simply because one of my children preferred to eat a meal from KFC.

We understand and respect the policy regarding outside food, but in this instance, we had already made a substantial purchase from Burger King. It was unreasonable for the manager to ignore this fact and insist on our departure, especially considering the cold weather and impending darkness outside he did not care that I was with three kids.

Not only did this experience ruin our meal, but it also left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. As loyal customers, we expect to be treated with dignity and understanding, regardless of our food preferences.

I urge Burger King to address this issue promptly and ensure that all staff members are trained to handle similar situations with empathy and respect. ************** of any kind has no place in a customer-centric establishment like Burger King.

I hope that you will take appropriate action to rectify this situation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
