Burger King Middelburg Mall - Terrible

After our church service on Sunday (about 19:40) we went to BK Middelburg Mall to grab dinner. We were 8 people and the restaurant was not busy at all. Upon entering we were shocked at the current state of the restaurant. It was raining outside but upon entering there was water everywhere. There is serious leaking within the store. Nonetheless the first problem was when we tried ordering as the guy that was taking my order (Philani - the manager) was quite occupied on his cellphone (on Facebook) and took a while to notice that we were ready to order. Once ordered the second problem came. We were standing at the front counter and were asked to move twice as the lady wanted to mop at the weirdest possible time. We then moved to the dining area to seek seating. Problem 3. The left hand side of the restaurant has about 10 tables (that in a normal BK can accommodate between 2-6 people each) and, get this, 6 chairs for the entire restaurant. The right hand side of the restaurant does not have any tables or chairs and the left side (next to the windows) is not occupiable due to the excessive water leaking the couches is soaked. Thus only 5 tables and 6 chairs are occupiable. I could understand the removal of tables and chairs during covid but the restrictions were lifted a long time ago. We decided to accommodate each other by trying to squeeze as much people onto the shared couch in the middle with one of us sitting on the island. One very rude and unfriendly employee shouted at my friend to get off as it is not a chair, which we know, but where are you supposed to sit if there is not any chairs? I asked her where all the chairs were and she said they are all broken (which I find HIGHLY unlikely). We comp**** and later wanted to order a Cuppacake at 20:05 whereafter we were told that they have logged off at the front and we should go through the drive through? I then asked to speak to a manager as this bothered me that she is shouting at us and now being nasty about an ice cream but not taking action to accommodate us as customers in the restaurant. She claimed she is the restaurant manager but when I tried to talk to her she turned her back and pretended to not hear a word what I am saying, discussing me with her fellow colleagues in another language. NO CHAIRS and NO SERVICE. Above and beyond that she and other staff went into Philani's office clearly discussing our situation and pointing fingers at me and my friends taking my frustration to the next level. This is not the way things are supposed to be done... Also why does the restaurant still close at 8:00 when the curfew has been lifted? A bunch of the employees were not even wearing masks but it is being enforced when you enter the doors? This is the reputation BK Middelburg has built for itself. I've had numerous occurrences of this type of behavior from *********** and rude staff and I can guarantee that it will destine this BK to eventually close it's doors. This was my last visit.
