Terrible experience and unsatisfied

<p>So my wife and I decide to upgrade our twins todler beds in their room to larger more practical beds. We went online and searched for wooden bunks beds in South Africa. Came across the site and everything looked good. We decided on white lofted beds so they can still play underneath them. 1st step, we called to find out about availibilty and time frame for delivery etc. as these are normal concerns. George presented himself as very friendly and guarenteed us that he works on the products himself and that if we make payments and all goes well, we should not wait longer than a couple of days for our beds. So obviously we have decided and made up our minds and went ahead with EFT and sent through proof of payment. A week went by and no delivery. Gave it another couple of days, and then called. Then came the 1st excuse of many. Power outages was the 1st if i remember correctly. So gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited patently. The material eventually arrived 3 weeks after doing payment. Upon opening the wrapped wooden planks, I was confused and did not know where to start as there were no DIY instructions added. Called again and he assured to mail it through immediatly - which also never happened. Eventually got one bed set up - BUT - not without any complications. Some of the planks were still wet with the white paint, then put ontop of each other and wrapped. So you can imagine pulling them apart we had paint damage. Also some of the corner legs holes were not drilled. I had to do that myself. He provided exactly the amount of *****s and dowles needed, so accidently breaking one, cost me to go to the local hardware store and get some more. Then upon finalizing the 1st bed, discovered the wooden planks for the base were in terrible condition. Left it there for now. Started with the 2nd bed. Simi**** issues, but ended worse. 2 of the side planks on top (for safety) so that your child does not fall from the top - were at least 300mm too long. They were clearly the incorrect planks packed. They could not fit anywhere else as the bed has it side and lenght same as other. So 1st thing is i put the in position and clearly show the lenghts and take a picture and whatsapp to him. Then my wife calls him. Then more excuses started. He all of a sudden also claims that he is going to ring the people that worked on the beds necks. Earlier he told us that he worked on it. Anyways, he assured us that he will personally come with all the correct material and new base planks and fix them himself. Which i did not expect but thanked him for. He never came. Two weeks went by with phone calls and excuses. 4 weeks went by. Since we have asked him numerous times if he could just courier the stuff to us, we will fix it ourselves. It has been 6 weeks now since initial purhase and payment made. He does not want to talk to my wife anymore on the phone and refuses to pick up. Or he just drops the phone in her ears. My wife is not one that is rude or swears so I don't know what his problem is. I felt like I just needed to warn someone that might one day read this before concidering to buy from him. I have nothing to gain. I am very dissapointed in his overall service delivery and will defnitely not recommend anyone to him. I am sure one day he will have to answer to The Higher power for his behaviour. I will do the cutting and painting myself now, and I am sure it will satisfy me even more. </p>
