Solar pump ******* from Bundu Power
On the 5th of October 2022 I bought a solar pump for R14 590 from Bundu Power. Due to lack of finances at the time, It took me exactly 12 months to afford to buy solar panels for the pump. On the 6 of October after installing solar panels, I opened the solar pump box for the first time so I can install it. Immediately after opening the pump box, the electrician/installer noticed that the controller box which comes with pump is missing the motherboard, meaning it's just a shell. I immediately called Solomon the sales rep to tell him. He said he will take it up with his manager. This is On Friday morning of the 6th of October. I got a response on the 9th saying " Hi Math, my manager has got back to me indicating that the unit had been out for a year and you have 7 days to check if all is in order".
Now: 1. There's nowhere on the invoice where it says I have 7 days to check if all is order. 2. Even if I did check, this my first time buying a solar pump how am I supposed to know what parts it comes with for me to know what's missing. Are they saying when you buy a product from Bundu Power you must hire a specialist or someone with product knowledge to inspect your purchase within 7 days? 3. Is it not their responsibility to check before dispatching to the customer? 4. R14 590 is a lot of money for me to get an incomplete product and cold response from Bundu Power. 5. This product has a 3 year warranty, shouldn't it cover this besides doing the right thing and just give me a complete controller? I gave one star because there's no option for zero star.
