I rate this business -100 stars! I took a Bullz Cabz taxi from Tiger Tiger to my home in the early hours on Sunday. I only had R70 on me ( the charge was R370 for a cab ride after I managed to bargain him down!) so the guy agreed that I can make the excess payment via EFT. He phoned me Sunday afternoon to do the EFT and was more than happy to do so, but he informed me that he wanted the money straight away as he needs it to "feed his family". I told him that unfortunately it's not a possibility as it was to another bank, it was a Sunday afternoon and you can not do instant payments on Sundays. I proceeded to do the normal EFT anyway and told him that the money will be in his account by Tuesday. Tuesday he started contacting me and I ignored his calls as I thought everything was sorted. Wednesday the same thing happened, he kept on contacting me and because I ignored his calls he started sending me threatening SMS's like "You don't want to **** with us" and said I am making him angry. Later Wednesday evening at 10pm I couldn't take all the missed calls anymore so I answered... he claimed he never received the money even though I had the proof of payment. I asked him to please be patient and I will contact my bank the following morning to confirm the payment and get back to him soonest as there is nothing I can do at this time and I have the proof of payment. He started getting very upset with me and carried on threatening me, claiming how he is a good guy but I shouldn't get on their wrong side and how I shouldn't **** with them, so I agreed to meet him at the garage to pay him the R300 I owed because I have already given him R70 the night of the drop off. He got very upset when I told him I am willing to pay him only the R300 that I owed and in a threatening voice told me that I owed him much more now because he had to drive to fetch the money and is counting it as a 2nd trip he also informed me that he is bringing his boss along to where we need to meet. A couple of minutes later he phoned to find out where I was and told me again that I don't want to get on their wrong side, I'm making him very angry and I shouldn't **** with them and they will come to my house!! All because he didn't want to wait till the next morning so that I can confirm whether the payment was successful or not. I rang up a good friend of mine to accompany me because I felt so intimidated by him and his behavior. I ended up paying him R600 in cash ONLY because I was scared as to what they would do if I didn't give them enough money and just to get this ordeal over with and then found out today from my bank that the EFT payment was successful. So I paid R970 for a 15km cab ride. Luckily I have the threatening phone calls recorded and saved, I saved the threatening SMS's he sent me, I have proof of payment as well as a recorded phone call to the bank confirming the payment went through and I also have the account details the money has been paid to via EFT. My attorneys have confirmed that I have sufficient evidence to open on a strong case against the driver and the company.
