Broken goods and had to pay a smaller truck to offload my goods

I recently relocated last weekend to kzn from Pretoria, I hired a truck removal company called “Bulls Removals”, Saturday I landed in Durban and the truck had already arrived with my furniture. Told the guy my flight was delayed at the airport hence why I was late and then I eventually arrived at my apartment the truck driver said I should give him an hour he will be there indeed after an hour he came.

The truck he came with couldn’t turn and enter at the gate, they told me to pay an extra 1500 to get a smaller truck, and I told them that it is not my flaut that their truck can’t turn told them I’ve paid a full amount already and won’t be paying any further money.

Called the owner of the company asked if his guys can’t carry the stuff to the gate he said “my people are not dogs” they won’t do that. It got darker and it was cold and I’m sitting outside on the pavement bearing in mind that I’m pregnant. Eventually I manage to get a local truck that will move from the gate to inside my complex (which is a short distance by the way).

The guys offload my stuff from the big truck to the smaller one the time was around 10pm.

When the bulls company guys offloaded my furniture some of my furniture was wet the truck had water in side the driver said it was raining, my tv, microwave, foot spa , iron, and tables, and some boxes were wet. Secondly some of my things were open and one box was squashed up and told the driver about.

Upon unwrapping my furniture,some of my goods such as photo frames,bowls and plated were broken.

Tested the tv it was working, tested the microwave it didn’t switch on till this, the leg of my tv stand is chipped off and my tv stand has scratches on it. Some items are missing from the plastic that was open my MK T-shirt is missing and some cosmetics.

I sent the owner all the pics he said they would send someone to assess the stuff called in the second time he said he won’t be paying out anything and has since been avoiding my calls.
