Breach of contract

We put down a deposit for a vehicle with this supplier. In the process of getting finance from the bank, they sold the car and made all sorts of excuses about the financing. When we went to the supplier the owner was rude and unruly in explaining why the vehicle was sold. We paid a deposit to secure the deal, however they are not honoring our Consumer Rights.
