Exhorbatent Corkage at Bukhara Cbd

After walking in with two bottles of local sparkling wine,which was promptly placed in ice buckets with no indication of corkage or warning of the difference between corkage for wine and champagne. We downloaded the wine menu ahead of time to check corkage fees and general selection of wines. At no point were we notified on site or on drinks menu or in person about the absurd corkage fee of R100 for wine and R200 for \champagne""; unhelpful and mis-informative service. Can anyone name any reasonable or top establishment in Cape Town with such un-reasonable corkage fees? I doubt it. Definitely a no go for service and wine friendliness. I can walk into any other place in this country and pay less than half of this corkage. High end or not. Unhappily yours;disgruntled customer. """
