price you see is price you pay

I went to buildrite to buy a kitchen mixer. The price that was on the shelf was R329.00.When I went to pay the person making the invoice told me the price had goneup to R429.00. I was refused the price I had seen on the shelf for R329.00. When I asked to see the manager the salesmen told me he was not in and that there was nothing that he could do and he kept on passing the blame on the gentlemen who packs the shelf. Instead of showing customer service I felt more sympathy for the packer. The manner in which the matter was handled was poor so too was the service.
