BuildMat Welkom poor execution and service

I have a construction company and as a test to see how BuildMat Welkom would perform I had a small job that I had to do at home so I decided to put them to the test and bought the project materials in my private capacity. The little project is the replacement of doors of an existing built in cupboard and a new addition to the cupboard as well as a completely new cupboard. The cutting list sheet is the only thing they work from and the sheet is not very clear, I asked a whole lot of questions regarding the list and how it should be structured to get the potholes for the cupboard doors to be cut on the correct edge, I was instructed to place the side that the holes are to be drilled in the length column so I rewrote the lists and took them back offering them a sketch for each of the 5 quotes I requested. I was meticulous with the measurements and their placement on the lists. I also indicated clearly what the colours of the pieces should be and the colour edging. The timer arrived late on Friday 15th the items were paid for more than a week prior. The result is that the 5 doors I was concerned about the hinge holes were cut into the wrong edge on the cupboard where the doors were to be replaced and holes were also cut into the drawer facings. The section of the cupboard that was to be added onto that cupboard the door was cut from the wrong colour board and has no holes for the hinges. The new cupboard also has problems with the incorrect edging colours on the pieces. The project has obviously come to a halt.i have emailed them with no response as yet. I had asked that they come and collect all the pieces I can not use and reimburse me for the timber.

I am so pleased I did not order for a client as this would have been extremely embarrassing with cost to reputation and budget.

I will definitely not be using them in future.
