Yard workers cracked front windscreen

I was at Cape Gate Builder Warehouse buying some gutters, facia boards and a few other odds and ends. While two of the guys working in the contractors loading area were loading they shoved the facia boards into the back of my bakkie through the small back window. They pushed the facia boards in so hard that the review mirror bent completely up and in so doing cracked my front windscreen. When I reported it to the security they got the Yard Manager/Supervisor out who simply took my details, and took one photo. I was given the number of the person who was to handle this, a Mr Hein Mostert. When I phoned him (he never phoned me), he said there was a lot to consider and he needed to look at CCTV footage and he would see if he could find some time to complete this by the end of that day - this was a couple of days ago already. He is yet to phone me back to organise my window to be replaced. The level of commitment to a loyal (was loyal) customer is disgusting, to say the least.

Hi Charles,

Thank you for your feedback.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience.

This isn't the type of customer service we want you to receive.

I've escalated this to store management for it to be looked into.

Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.

Kind Regards,

Tristan Kelly
Builders Customer Service Agent

Best regards,
