Worst service ever

I bought a Ryobi hammer drill at their Wonderpark branch in April this year. As a contractor, I asked for the best that will be able to handle the jobs at hand…started using it in June and it stopped working in August. Took it back to them and they said it was going to be taken back to the manufacture for repairs and was told it would be back in 5 days. To my surprise, on the 5th day, I was now told it’s 21 days and then a week later was told it’s 21 working days. When I bought this drill I was told the product will be replaced in-house and was never told about this lengthy process. Now they wanna charge me around R800 for the repairs done. Ernest told me 5 days, then Elizabeth said 21days, then Miranda or Matilda said 21 working days…it’s been over a month now without my tool that I need to conduct my business. I asked them for a loan unit while repairs are being done and Ernest said I should buy a new one or rent out one for their in-house rentals. This has been the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on. It’s over 21 working days and I still haven’t received my drill back.

So I went to Builder’s Wonderpark to collect my “should be fixed” drill, to my surprise, they wanted to give me back the drill still not working. Manager said that I didn’t accept the quote for it to be repaired, but that is false and Matilda knows that. I never rejected the quote, but instead asked if Builder’s can do something about it, since I bought the item from them and not from Ryobi, and that’s when Matilda said she’ll see what she can do, but never got back to me ever since. The manager was unruly and unprofessional and said he’ll teach me a lesson, as he said and I quote “ it’s personal now”. All I want is my drill returned and in working order…I’ll await their call to get this resolved
