Worst customer service

Builders Warehouse shouldn’t even get a 1 star rating. The service at any Builders Warehouse is shocking, even their customer service line is appalling. Complaint logged on Thursday 28/04/2022 to date no one called back, called again this morning, and had to repeat myself. On Thursday we purchased large paving bricks from Builders Warehouse Strubensvalley, the paving blocks are located outside in the parking area. After making the payment inside by the cashier and the slip checked by security (which is such a waste and a slap in the face as a customer, either they don’t trust their customers or staff). My husband and I started loading the 15 paving bricks, the car guard offered to help, we then said no we are fine, he then called security, the security then came to check if we are loading 15 paving blocks not even offering to load, when asked he said he is security and doesn’t load. We then asked to speak to a manager. While waiting I called customer service, finished the call and we were still waiting for a manager. The manager (McDonald) eventually arrived at a slow pace and with his hands in his pockets asked what the problem was. Explained that it is unacceptable that the customer must load and check their own paving bricks. Le Roy Merlin loads and checks that the bricks are not cracked. We visited the Fairyglen branch today, staff standing in groups and not attending to customers. We were looking for items on display. Shame on you Builders Warehouse, I’m surprised your doors are still open.
