What life expectancy do you expect from a tool?

I have been disappointed time and again with glue guns. It seems that they are designed to last a year and then they pack up. I thought that this was a quality issue and that if I bought the right quality product this wouldn't be a problem. So when I saw the Rapid EG212 glue gun at Builders Warehouse I thought this was a superior product, what with its stylish design. However I was disappointed yet again when after a year it failed and I can't find the invoice to check if it's still under warranty . Isn't there a superior glue gun that will last longer than a year?

Hi Richard,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I'm sorry that the glue gun hasn't lasted as long as you've expected.

I will give the department manager a call to confirm the warranty and will get back to you.
