Useless when dealing with the customers

Yesterday I went to the store and enquired about a fireplace. I was told that they had a unit that had been returned by a someone and I could have it at a discount. It was in there store so I told them I would come back today to get it. I went this morning to show my wife, but it still had not been brought into the store. I asked again if they could bring it out the store and I would come before closing and buy it with the extra stainless flue set. I arrived later and to my disbelief the fireplace was still not brought from the store or ready for me. No sorry and nothing from Oliver. I offered to drive to the store to collect myself but was told that the store was closed from 5pm. I get the feeling firstly that don't need my business and secondly there was not really rush to solve the situation. The fireplace was going to be a gift to the family but the whole experience has tarnished my day and the whole experience of getting something for the home. Judging from the attitude of the staff at builders warehouse, training and customer care is not high on the list within the group.
