Useless staff at builders Strubensvalley

Builders Warehouse has basically been my hardware of choice not only because of the competitive prices they have but also the staff knowing what they are doing. I pass atleast 6 other hardware shops from my house to Builders that I am aware of, knowing I will get assistance.

To say that I was disgusted and appalled would be the understatement of the century.

Starting by the garden centre for the second time in a row there was no staff to assist. We managed along to the tiling department looking for wall tiles, again there also was no single builders person to assist. Keeping in mind this us about 16:00 or so. I approached a gentleman from another department who tried to call the missing person. After how many attempts I left it. Although I was boiling I knew CTM was just across the road and would find it there.

Arriving at at the painting department, big surprise awaits us. No staff yet again. 15 minutes passed and We left that department. Then we found the employee of the freaken month. I asked for assistance where this rude ### rep**** "go to the counter". I asked him if it was the counter just behind me and he said yes. I told him I just obviously came from there and there was nobody. He turned around and walked away. You go Mr Employee you go.

I went to the ceiling and skirting side where nobody was there to assist, obviously. But this time it was my fault. I kinda just assumes that the two guys standing 10m away worked in that department. I was yet again told about this magical desk I need to go without a hint of which direction it is. I went to the desk just around the corner and a very helpful lady told me to go to the departmenr she pointed at. I told her all I want is a freaken price of the items I had in my hand. I took her non response and staring at me as I walked away that it was probably home time and for me just a waste of time.

Thanks for the exercise of making a person with disabilities walk up and down and then again up and down between department and the scanner to do your job.

We then decided that the items in our trolley is enough and we would rather go elsewhere. LITERALLY more than 50% of our visit was just waiting for assistance. And then never got any.

This is obviously an issue that should addressed at a senior level because the manager there is either a child of the big boss or new or something.

Then we get to go pay. Ah the joy of finally getting out of that place but no. Mr till man decided that I have not yet been punished enough. With us standing infront and the very first till becomes available he calls me and I acknowledge. Me turning half sideways while slowly moving towards him to help my mom pull her trolley and get the builders card, he now decides he wants to push the button and law and behold! Next Customer till nr 1 please. I look at him and him and said can you wait. He rep**** perfectly by saying "Do you have a builders card?" As the items go through I made a comment that you need to put prices on your shelfs and also that the price on the shelfs are incorrect, whereby I was treated yet again the new builders way, by being ignored.

I waited until everything was through and I told them what to take out as prices did not match.

Clearly the security lady is outsourced. She left me speechless by the professional manner she treated us- with a smile. Go girl go.
