Unhelpful Staff at Builders Warehouse Cape Gate

I went to this store with my friend last week, he wanted to buy a laser measuring device. These items are not cheap. On arrival at the store we went straight to the customer care / info desk to enquire where we could find these devices, the friendly staff member wasn't sure and asked one of her colleagues who was walking past to assist us. He wasn't interested in the least to even consider such a possibility and instead just walked on without even offering to steer us in the right direction. I have worked in the retail industry and I didn't triple my sales budget for my division by being rude to customers.

We eventually found a kind member of staff who took us to where the devices were kept and assisted us even though it wasn't his area. This gentleman really deserves accolades, however the other member of staff does not deserve to have his job. My friend still commented "He wasn't even interested in us.."

My friend bought the measuring device as we had come to Builders for that very reason to buy the device. To ignore ones customers in these times is a not on in excellent economic times, in times such as these it is foolish.
