Unfair consumer treatment.

I was given a pair of safety boots. Original packaging, unopened , purchased at Builders Warehouse The Glen. They are the wrong size. I do not have the slip as they were a gift. All I want to do is exchange them for another pair that fits me. Builders Warehouse refuses point blank.
