I visited the Builders Warehouse in Northriding and found their French Travertine tiles on special for R198 for the set. Spoke to the consultant and a clearly asked when the speacial ends and he said it’s “to clear” so no end date. At this time I told him that I’m going to ask my tiler to remeasure the room and I’ll come back the next day. Went back 2 days later and was shocked at the behavior of the managers. They refused to except that the tile was this price and then When I provided a picture of the tile and price, Harriete asked if I can prove the date and time!! And said the price has been removed so that’s the only thing that counts. The other manager told me that their staff would never tell me that there’s no end date to the special. They could apparently find no evidence of the price I told them the tile was for 2 days before!!! Needless to say the pic I have does say “to clear”. They have stock but won’t give it to me at R198 per set. So where’s the lies; the staff or the price that said “to clear”. Very ********* behavior.
