Un happy pensioners day

Wednesdays are supposed to be the day pensioners can get a discount, yes? Well actually NO, now need to apply for a Pensioners card BUT if you don't have or don't want to supply an e-mail address SORRY no card!!!! You stand in a queue for 25-30 min to get to the cashier and then get told you need a pensioners card so go and stand in another queue for 15-20 min to apply for your card and then go back to the original queue. An A2 size poster BEHIND the cashiers advises that you can get a card but doesn't spell it out that you NEED/HAVE TO to get a card if you want your discount! What a load of BULL ! They say that its because they can then send you a copy of your invoice, via e-mail, so that you don't loose it in case you need to do a claim. I DON'T WANT A COPY OF MY INVOICE! If I buy something that has a warranty I am quite capable of making sure I have a valid copy, just because I am a pensioner doesn't mean I am senile! Its a cash sale, so why not ask everybody for their e-mail address in that case.
