Treat customers like ********* and rate your own service, with a dash incorrect pricing.

I have had two ********** experiences at two different stores in a matter of a week.

The first occurred at Builders Express Lambton. The store incorrectly marked an item, over charged for it and proceeded to try and wriggle out of refunding the difference. In the same store later in the week I bought a couple of items. The security check point misread the till slip on checking it and proceeded to treating the customer as a ********.

Of course customer care does what it can to limit the damage they apologize profusely, the manager of the store calls to apologize and in their minds it's dead and buried. (The customer has accepted the apology, case closed!)

The second store is Builders express Robindale, in I go to buy some board so I need to be served at the contractors counter. There is nobody there so I hit the call button and wait. I wait for 15 minutes with many staff members passing me, not one stops to ask how much hey can help and if I would mind waiting just a minute. So I wait patiently as there is not much you can do if the store is busy. It is after all Saturday just before lunch.

Eventually a staff member "Ntokozo" appears cancels the call and rates himself as excellent on the instore customer satisfaction survey. At this point I ask him what's the point of that, surely it is for the customer to rate their experience, he replies with a comment I always rate myself as excellent, but you should introduce yourself before asking a question, he then proceeded to reprimand me on my lack of manners. I was gob smacked.

Any how he eventually gets round to serving, but while doing so and while I ask questions or my father asks him questions he proseeds to head bang to the racquet they are playing in store. Not giving a definitive answer! When we were done with him I decided I would have a word with the store manager. The "manager" did have a word with"Ntokozo" but instead of correcting the behavior it got worse, involving the security personnel, getting disrespectful towards my father and talking behind the backs of the clients choosing to gossip and complain about the client behind their backs.

I find this type of behavior and business ethic unacceptable irrespective of who they might be serving.

Once again I called the customer complaints line, and the service from this decision of the business is fantastic, but it's more of the same thing, we are so sorry, we apologize, we will bring it to the managers attention and investigate further. Once again they will beg forgiveness agree with my disgust and then it will be business as usual in the stores.

Make the customer wait!

Disrospect the customer!

Argue with the customer, and forget about accountability when goods are incorrectly marked!

#No Consequences.

Good day Alistair,

Allow me to apologize for the poor service experienced at our Builders Express Robindale store . This is definitely not the type of experience, we want our customers to have. I would also like to thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention in order to address and resolve the matter for you. As a business we remain committed to ensuring that you, our valued customer, have an exceptional shopping experience in store or when calling our store. We will ensure that your feedback is taken to the relevant departmental manager and the poor work is addressed.

Kind Regards,
