The water tank that was paid for but not ordered.

I ordered and paid for a JoJo 5250 litre water tank on 14 May 2026 at the Silver Lakes branch. They informed me that the colour i was looking for needs to be ordered and will be available on 21 May 2026 at their store. The staff member will contact me. On 22 May after I did not receive any call, I went to the store to enquire and learned that the lady who helped me was not available on the day. I also learned that the order was never submitted to the supplier (JoJo) hence no tank was available for collection.

I spoke to a department manager and he promised to make work of it. I informed him that my deadline was Wednesday 27 May as the borehole pump will be installed on the building site.

On Monday I got a call from another staff member offering me an Eco Tank with 5050 litre capacity for the same price. I rejected the offer. The department manager phoned later and offer me R300 discount on the Eco Tank. I refused.

Another call, on Tuesday 26 May, another promise that the tank will be delivered on 28 May. At 17h40 on 28 May, no tank. Only an empty promise that I might perhaps receive the tank on 29 May.

Not a good experience and not good customer service.
