THE UNREFUNDED WARRANTY

On the 1st of June 2022 I bought Ryobi 7,5KVA 4Stroke Petrol Generator online at Builders Warehouse Richards Bay. A qualified technician did all the wiring 100% correct and it was working perfectly from that day until the 4th of November when it was burned almost to ashes after using water to extinguish the burning fire. Since the generator was still under warranty I took it to Builders Warehouse and explained all what happened. Builders Warehouse sent me to Bay Power Tools for assessment. They gave me a receipt for leaving my genetor for assessment. While I was leaving it one of their employees shared to me the story of the same type of generator that was burned like mine that was brought to them for assessment. I asked what was the feedback on it, he told the owner was refunded with the generator. After few days Bay Power Tools phoned to tell me that they could not refund my generator since in their assessment they found that someone burned it, how I asked and I was so confused till today since my house is properly fenced. I am talking of the generator that is 5 months 3 days old that is still under warranty but Builders Warehouse couldn't think of giving me another generator for replacement. On the 6th of December 2022 Bay Power Tools phoned me to collect that burned generator & I told them that let them throw it away because I can't keep it any more.
