Terrible service, worse products
I have been visiting Builder's since they opened their store in Bloemfontein. In my 50 plus visits to the store I have received nothing but bad service, passive attitudes and a general lack of any positive experience. I continued to use the store as I became used to helping myself and there aren't many other options, but now I'm done. Not only is their service terrible and discouraging, their products are mostly *******. For example, I purchased a jigsaw and in the first five minutes of use the *****s holding the blade had stripped. When I returned to ask if they could replace the part, they simply said NO and sent me on my way, offering no further advice. I tried to purchase wall tiles and the gentleman I eventually found did not even attempt to listen to a word I said, printed an incorrect invoice and told me that it was my problem. The last straw was buying a Megamaster Fireplace which is on special for 6 months, including chimney etc. I installed the fireplace which if you know this process is a permanent fixture, only to find upon lighting the first fire that it had a hole in the top due to bad handling. Massmart needs to wake up and realize how bad their ground opera
