Supplying Damaged goods-Not Replacing
I am doing a tiling job of roughly 50sqm and bought my tiles at BuildersWarehouse. The tiles were sold, supp**** and priced as A-Grade tiles.I started seeing a problem with the tiles when half the job was completed:the glazing was damaged and some edges had chips from the factory cutting of the tiles, out of 14 boxes of 16 each I found roughly 10 not damaged tiles. This was reported on 25Feb, Builders sent people on 26Feb who agreed that the tiles were damaged and then started hiding behind the supplier.Only after a reminder that I am not their supplier's client did they make a plan to send me new tiles, which were \checked"for defects.I opened the first box in the presence of the delivery men and 10 out of 16 were defective. In the mean time builders organised for the supplier to come to my house to view the tiles on 09Mar"
