Strubensvalley bad experience

I recently purchased a kARCHER F7 Floor cleaner from Builders Warehouse Strubensvalley. After using the machine a number of times it stopped working. I took it to the returns department at the Builders Strubensvalley branch where they informed me that they would send it to their supplier for repairs. I called the branch Manager and asked him to replace the machine as per the CPA. He informed me that it was not their policy and kept interrupting me when I tried to explain that his policy could never supercede the Law. I told him to show some measure of empathy towards my Wife who is a Pensioner and would now have to scrub our floors on her knees... he merely shrugged and stuck to his "policy" story. Three things I find often with some less ethical Busineses: 1. They try to delegate their responsibility to THEIR Supplier. 2. They refer to their internal policy and ignore the Law. 3. They try to bully the Customer. I am most disappointed in Builders Warehouse and hope that this type op Customer relations is limited to the Strubensvalley Branch Manager.
