Store manager and staff need training on returns process and honoring of Warranties

I bought a Builder’s Warehouse branded bathroom mixer from the Builders Express store off Malibongwe Drive in November 2020. Within a month the fixture burst and on removing the fixture one could clearly see that the damage was as a result of fatigue on the material. I hereby would like to place on record the dissatisfactory service provided by the store manager and his staff; instead of booking in the part for evaluation and possible replacement of the defective part in support of the warranty stipulated we entered an unnecessary argument as to the scratches on the fixture and them refusing to investigate further. There is impression I was left with is that the store has no intention of honoring the warranty on its products. I am a fan of the Builders Warehouse franchise, but I will apply caution in purchasing from this store and recommend that the manager and staff be trained better on customer returns processes.
