Someone needs to take resposibility

bougt paint At builders the other day and put it in my car and as i was leaving the paint just opened and spilled all over my car and when i went back into the store to complain i was told they cant take responsibility Dulux should because its their paint and was made to buy another paint. I feel this is totally unacceptable cos no one wants to take responsibility and am driving around in a Range Rover with paint stains in my car.
