Solar lights

We received a solar light as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately it only worked twice. When I returned it to the store they refused to replace it because I did not have the till slip. I tried to explain that it was a gift and therefore did not have the slip. I asked to speak to a manager, but he refused to come to the returns counter.<br> <br> I did contact the person that gave us the light, but she no longer has the slip.<br> <br> This should be a warning to anybody purchasing 'gifts' from Builders Warehouse to ensure that they include the till slip with the gift, just in case it has to be returned for whatever reason, or not to purchase gifts if they not prepared to hand over the till slips.<br>
