SMALL BUSINESSES SHOULD AVOID BUILDERS WAREHOUSE, PE
I went there to have boards cut for a kitchen as i am a cabinate maker, apparently their edging machine broke and never botherd to notify me. I then had to drive 40km per day to assist them and to ensure that the work is done correctly (which should not be my work).Hereby i lost over 30hours of work time with driving up and down trailer rental to take back the wood that was cut incorrectly. On top of it all i still had to do my own edging as well just to get my timber from them.
I sent an email to the branch manager at the builders warehouse, Buffelsfontein, port elizabeth, he then sent it through to the head office and today 03/04/2019 its been exactally 2weeks and i still have not heard back from them, all together i lost just over R3000 worth of income and they just shunting me off.
So if you are a small business i would highly recommend NOT to use them.. your business name will take a knock aswell as your pocket.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience you've received from our PE store. I can only imagine your frustration as you need the boards cut to continue your project. To get to the store to find that the edging machine is not working, the time lost and you not receiving feedback doesn't sit well.

08 Apr 2019, 08:15So builders got in contact with me only after posting on here i was told customer care would be in contact with me, yet still nothing... properbly going to take another 2 weeks and then another 2weeks to get refunded... really pathetic.

The customer care agent just doesn't reply to my emails and I have to continuously phone to find out what is happening. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND ILL ADVISE ALL OTHER SMALL CONTRACTORS TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!

So today marks the one month date since the start of this dispute and still, it has not been resolved utterly disgusted in this service from builders warehouse its been a week now since I have sent them my banking details so it actually seems like my prediction was quite accurate, apparently I only have to sign some form which is supposed to take one day to get from head office (which I have not received as yet). The customer care agent just doesn't reply to my emails and I have to continuously phone to find out what is happening. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND ILL ADVISE ALL OTHER SMALL CONTRACTORS TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!
