Shocking quality and shocking service. Shame on you.

We bought a lawnmower at the Helderberg branch in November 2023. It broke on the first use. We took it back where an assistant blamed us for the fault. Upon insistance of speaking to the manager, the Trimtech technician who happened to be there, confirmed it was in fact a fault on the machine's part. It was not replaced, however, but was sent back to the supplier for further assessment. It took weeks to get the lawnmower back to us and in that time it was extremely hard to get hold of anyone at Builders to find out what was being done.

It broke AGAIN three months after being fixed, and we took it back in. Again, no replacement. We were told the supplier would phone us two days later. Of course, this didn't happen, and for four days we were unable to get hold of anyone at Builders to find out what was being done. Once we did, we were informed that the lawnmower hadn't even been picked up yet and is still waiting assessment, nevermind it being fixed.

Adding insult to injury, every time it breaks we not only need to haul it back to Builders, we also have the pleasure of paying someone else to come mow our lawn with their mower.
