Selling products they don't have

Builder's Warehouse, Allen's Nek. We bought new patio chairs and asked the salesman if they had stock, as we needed them urgently, he rep**** yes. I paid and set up a delivery for the following Tuesday. When the delivery did not arrive by Wednesday afternoon I phoned, to hear that they in fact had no stock and didn't know when the stock would arrive. So here's the question, how long were they planning to keep my money without letting me know? In my book this constitutes *****. However, I went to the store on Wednesday afternoon and spoke with a consultant named Clement, he was very helpful and promised to source the stock from other branches immediately, he also contacted me everyday to let me know the progress. The chairs arrived with about an hour to spare, it was cutting it very fine. Thank you to Clement for the assistance, but a thumbs down for the overall experience had at Builders.
