Running a circus

On Sat 10/09/2016 I went to Builders warehouse Strubens Valley to get a few house doors and some melamine shelving. The Delivery date (Which i paid R375) was for the following Saturday 17/09/2016, captured by Kevin Heydenrych. I called them again on Monday to confirm and spoke to Vuyo who confirmed for 14:30.

On the day I was at the delivery address, and at 14: 50 when no-one showed up or EVEN called, I phoned and wanted to speak to the deliveries manager but was told they were already gone, ( TEN TO THREE) I then asked for the store manager. Who was ALSO gone. So i spoke to a floor manager named Arie. He promised to find out what happened and let me know. After TWENTY minutes with no call , I had to then CALL THEM again, Arie then went to the delivery area to find out what was happening, and we arranged for asecond deliv date Mon 19/09/2016. A few minutes later a gentleman called me asking abt the size they sgould caut the Melanine boards. Which means they HAD NOT YET EVEN done the boards which were supposed to be delivered EARLIER THAT DAY.

On the Sunday I had to drive there (using now not only my airtime but noe also my petrol) to sort it out. Arie did NOT see it through to the end , but instead just pawned me off to the deliveries manager, a Miss Charmaine. She agreed on the deliv for Monday 19/09/2016 at 17:30 because I did not stay at the deliv address, and assured me she would call me Monday Morning at 8:00 to confirm. At 14:40 I HAD TO CALL HER. Same story as Arie, -she will get back to me. AFTER HALF AN HOUR, -I had to call back AGAIN. These people actually have NO REGARD for the customer.

At this point I wanted the order cancelled. I indicated as much to both Arie and Charmaine. The following morning I spoke to the Regional Manager for that area at MASSMART, a Mr Francois van Niekerk, who assured me it would sorted out and he would not like me to cancel the order. About an hour later I get a call from the store in Strubensvalley asking schedule a new deliv, We agree on Thursday 22 at 17:00. I expalined to them again that Im not residing at the devilivery address and they assured me they be there at 17: 00, -they even called me the morming on the Thursday, - AGAIN confirming for 17:00. That afternoon OF COURSE they didnt pitch at 5, so I gave it twenty minutes and called. They said the driver is on the way. I waited ANOTHER TWENTY FIVE minutes and then finally left at 17: 45.

This level of COTEMPT for the customer and the customers time is absolutely DISGUSTING.

And if its any reflection on the owners of MASSMART, then they need to be ashamed to be represented like this, and also need to rethink what a Name and reputation means in business. That branch of builders is in SERIOUS NEED OF CAPABLE LEADERSHIP. And the arrogance in the believe that because a store is big, that it wont gown down or go out of business is foolhardy. Even Rome fell... and closer to home, look at whats happening to the mighty ruling party.

The cicus act would be funny , -If it wasnt so disturbing ...and digusting . Keep your goods, Im now a Buildit customer.
