******* Service

I buy a vacuum cleaner from Builders Warehouse on 17/06/17, less than ONE month later it just completely stops working. Upon taking it to our local store (Middelburg, MP) we are told that we need to take it to the Witbank store "to have it sent away for repairs". On 19/09 we eventually do manage to make the trip and we are told that it will be a two week wait. So we wait. On 09/11/17 (note that time passed) we receive a telephone call to say that the machine has been repaired and can be collected - we drive out all the way to the Witbank store. Low and behold, upon testing it in the store the machine is still as dead as a doorknob! Repeat process. Today is 27/11/17 and still no telephone call or machine.

Hi Marli,

Thank you for your feedback.

I'm sorry for the service you've received regarding your faulty vacuum cleaner, and that the store hasn't contacted you as yet.

I've sent your details to our Witbank store and I'll follow up to have this matter resolved.

Once again, I'm sorry for the service you've received.

Regards,

Ivor

Reviewer Update
Hi Ivor, having received said vacuum cleaner back around two weeks ago it is again not working. All in all it has this now been a six months struggle with a brand new machine. Could you please arrange that we are refunded for this item? Obviously having it repaired is not worth the drama and effort.
