********** by Builder's Warehouse online shopping

In mid January I purchased an item online. It was not available locally but I was happy to collect it elsewhere in the province though it was an hour's drive from home. I discovered I did not need it but nonetheless drove to the store where I was to collect the item and cancelled in person. I was told it was not a problem and my money would be refunded within 5 days. That was on 13 January. It is now 7 February. At the end of January I sent an email to which I received no response. Today I telephoned and was told my refund was 'with my profile' which I presume means is a credit available at Builder's Warehouse which I am unlikely to use any time in the foreseeable future. I asked the person to whom I spoke to see to having the money refunded into my account which he said he would do and would phone me back shortly. I am still waiting four hours later and the business hours are closed for the day. On checking my profile online I saw no indication of any refund. In other words I have paid R430 to Builder's Warehouse for nothing and I am struggling to get my money back. I will never buy from them online again and want to warn others not to waste their time or money
