Refusal to Cut & Deliver Board paid for 10 days earlier

I paid for a board on 17 Feb 2022 as it was on special but did not collect it as I didnt have the cut sizes. When I got the cutting sizes on 27 Feb 2022, I went to get it cut during business hours but was told that the person that could check that it wasnt collected wasnt there so could only check on Monday even though my slip did not have the Red Collection stamp on it and the Branch Manager also wasnt there. I said that would be okay provided they did the cutting and free delivery as I would be at work on Monday and it wasnt my problem that they couldnt do it on Sunday. On Monday 28 Feb, I called the call centre and relayed the above to Faatimah and despite a number of communications, nothing happened. On Tuesday 1 Mar, I tried a "Head Office" number and got through to the call centre again whereupon I relayed all the above to Sherwin and asked to speak to a manager at 09h35. He said he would get one to call me and I am still waiting at 10h55. I have had a carpenter waiting to do the fitting since yesterday and my fitting window ends today as the suite will be occupied from 06h30 tomorrow for a week.
