RCT 1000 Inverter - Poor quality unit - **** Warranty - Inadequate Service

I am writing to address a persisting issue with my RCT 1000 inverter, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided.

Earlier this year, I encountered problems with the inverters battery not lasting more than an hour and, upon its return from servicing, I discovered new scratches and dents that were not present before. Getting assistance was a struggle, and despite sending photos, my concerns were ignored for over a week. The replacement cover I received was "second hand" and still slightly damaged, and the delay in service meant I got the inverter back past its warranty date.

Recently, the same battery issue resurfaced after just a month when I got to test it. I requested a credit due to the lack of confidence in its reliability, only to be unexpectedly charged R3000 for repairs. I firmly contested this charge as the initial problem remained unresolved. However, my attempts to follow up have gone unanswered for over a week.

This entire experience has left me questioning the integrity of the warranty and the product's reliability. Does the replacement battery only last a month? I am troubled by this and feel that the warranty provided is deceptive.

Also the fact that the supplier mentioned that I replace the battery with a Lithium battery when it's not compatible makes me question the integrity of the repair partner.

I have a list of questions which I need answers on. as well as a full refund as this unit does not work as advertised. I have been in touch with Yassiem Morat and Sylvia Mahlangu from builders and they are ignoring my follow up emails

Firstly, I am seeking clarification on the expected lifespan of the RCT inverter battery under conditions of load shedding at stages 5 and 6. Understanding the anticipated duration of performance in such circumstances will greatly assist me in gauging the reasonableness of the battery's performance.

Moreover, I would appreciate detailed information about the original brand of the battery provided with the RCT inverter, as well as the replacement brand that was supp****. Understanding the differences between the two brands will aid in comprehending the potential variances in performance and quality.

My main concern stems from the disparity in longevity between the initial battery and its replacement. When I first acquired the inverter, the battery lasted a commendable 6 months. However, after the replacement of the battery, its functionality drastically declined, lasting only 1 month. I am eager to understand the reasons behind this substantial disparity in performance between the original and replacement batteries.

Additionally, considering that the new gel battery was replaced due to issues within a short period, I would expect it to be covered under warranty. Could you kindly provide clarification on the warranty coverage applicable to the replaced gel battery?

Furthermore, I was informed that my inverter's cover was substituted with a second-hand cover sourced from a demo model present in the store. Given that the inverter cover is also encompassed within the warranty terms, wouldn't it be reasonable to expect a replacement with a new cover instead of a second-hand one?
