R829 Down the Drain

I bought a Superseat Toilet (Manufacturer: Superseats Pty Ltd, 13 Bryntirrold Drive Lonehill) from Builders Warehouse on 22 Jul 2023 for R829.00. When I installed it, the seat was of such poor quality that it could not be tightened, and the seat kept on moving. I returned it to Builders Warehouse in the afternoon on the very same day. Unfortunately, I no longer had my receipt. The person assisting me was not prepared to help, even after I showed her the payment on my credit card, along with the bank notification. Even if they did not believe me at that point, they could have retrieved the information from the barcode or my Builders Warehouse card, could they? R829 down the drain!!!!!
