Customer support defends this price because of the great distance it has to be shipped, from Edenvale to East London. Then they also mention that they don't really want to ship outside the different regions because of this great expense. This is not how online shopping is supposed to work. They couldn't explain to me how this delivery fee is calculated. This is a great way to kill your online shop. Has Builders never heard of courier services? This item will probably cost R100 to ship via courier over that distance. The entire purpose of online shops is convenience and the ability to purchase if you are not situated near one of their physical shops, a point entirely lost on the management of Builders. Fortunately, there are many other players who do online shopping correct and sell the same products. Well done, you've lost another customer.
